Their Gaze Remains The Same

Can you see what I see?

Or is my vision twisted?

Hallucinations maybe?

As others do not shift their head,

Their gaze remains the same.

My insides turn and question,

As it seems I am the only one

That saw this sight

I cannot unsee.

So I shift nervously,

Do I voice these things?

Or do I sit in silence,

Gaze remaining the same,

Fear of being called insane.

Maybe though,

If I raise my voice,

Call out the images I see,

Other gazes will meet mine.
